I believe that my background is an ideal fit for your organization. I was most recently employed as Area

Controller for multiple hotel properties attached to a casino and a golf course. This is the top financial

position in the corporation which reports directly to the President and effectively functions as a CFO. My

experience includes several Director of Finance/Controller positions overseeing multiple entities, including

five years at a Four Diamond Condominium Resort. In addition I hold a Bachelors degree in Business with

majors in both Accounting and Finance and have passed the CPA exam. I am currently looking for a

I have 17 years of direct management experience in the accounting field. 12 of these years were spent in

hotel/restaurant accounting, which includes both hands-on and top executive level experience in all

industry. My responsibilities at the various resorts were very extensive including maintaining all financial

records in accordance with GAAP for multiple properties including condominium associations. This

statements, consolidations, analysis of financial performance and investigation of variances, both short-

term and long-term financial and capital budgeting, financial and labor forecasting, cash flow management,

condominium owner reporting, tax reporting requirements, contracts and insurance, reconciliation of

general ledger and bank accounts, internal auditing, and process improvement. Accounts payable,

receivables, payroll, purchasing, night audit and all IT functions were also under my direct supervision. As

Controller at a financial institution I oversaw the entire Operations Department of 40 plus employees and

maintained the financial records for the bank with associated branch accounting.
