WORK EXPERIENCE:

7/06 - Present

Thermoforming/Woodshop Manager

Responsible for all activities and duties in a thermoforming facility.

Thermoforming parts using 50 mil to 100 mil plastic sheet and roll stock.

Improved quality, safety and plant appearance. Streamlined existing and new

processes. Drastically reduced scrap rate. Also managed the new woodshop

facility. Set up shop to comply with

all safety regulations. Streamlined production. Improved quality. More than

doubled production in the first year of operation. Boosted production by

90% the following year. Managed both facilities at the same time.

4/04- 7/06

Packaging Lab Manager Kelly Management. (Oscar Mayer) Madison, WI.

Responsible for implementing prototype packaging designed by Oscar Mayer

engineers. Thermoformed parts from 3 mil to 25 mil plastic. Testing of

foods and material used in the new packaging processes. Contracted.

4/02 - 12/03 Norwalk Tank Co. Joliet IL.

Production Manager

Responsible for all aspects of production including scheduling,

maintenance, staffing, safety and quality control. Improved production

dollars per man hour, safety, morale, quality and overall plant appearance.

IDOT certified cement tester.

7/2000 - 1/2002 Dart Container Corp. Corona, CA.

Production Supervisor

Responsible for the production and maintenance of product in a fast paced

facility. Supervised 30-50 employees. Responsible for all aspects of

employees and production, including Human Resources, discipline, safety,

scheduling, monitoring of production and quality control. Improved overall

production percentages. Brought shift quality from last place to first

place. Improved communications between departments.

Production/Maintenance Supervisor/Safety Coordinator

Responsible for all production of consistent, quality materials from start

to finish, and in a timely manner. Supervised a team of at least 15

employees which included maintenance and two people that were mentally

challenged. I was also responsible for maintaining a full staff which

included the hiring/terminating of employees. Implemented a safety program

that consisted of monthly meetings, training, and writing policies and

procedures. Assisted in implementing a P.O. system. I am knowledgeable of

OSHA regulations. Very familiar with ISO 9000 standards. Implemented an ISO

certified Preventive Maintenance Program.

Material Handler/Loader

Duties included the transfer and loading of product into hopper type rail

cars and semi trailers. Responsible for the care and maintenance of

equipment and the facilities. Co-Chairman of the Sanitation Team.
