. Strong experience in AMI/MDM testing. I have led the offshore QA-

testing team of IEE (Itron Enterprise Edition), a MDM Product of Itron

Inc., one of the leading utilities of USA. I have handled coordination

activities with client and offshore teams and have delivered projects

on time with very high quality [tenure: 2 years].

. I have been onsite to Raleigh, NC, USA for Itron for "Sustaining"

team. My role was testing the critical production defects after

fixing, performance testing for several scenarios reported by customer

etc [tenure: 7 months].

. I have been part of offshore lead and later, test engineer at onsite

to Raleigh, NC, USA for Itron for IEE-SAP Integration Project. I have

tested the interfaces between Itron Enterprise Edition (IEE) and SAP

IS-U [a newer version of its Net weaver IS-U for Utilities] [tenure: 3

months].

. I have been in a testing project working as an offshore module-lead

for testing Silver Spring Network's head-end system, UIQ [UtilityIQ],

used by FPL [Florida Power and Lights]. I was leading the team and my

scope of work involved Requirements gathering, identifying the

relevant transactions, Preparing System Test Script, Interaction with

client and clarifying issues etc., System Testing in Test Environment,

UAT testing, co-coordinating with client with daily status, re-testing

the fixed defects, capturing the test result in the test result

document, uploading in client SharePoint location, updating the

progress/defect tracker etc. [tenure: 4 months].

. I was involved in a testing project working as "MDMS QA Tester" at

onsite to San Diego, CA, USA for SDG&E [San Diego Gas and Electric]

for "MDMS" team. The project was about executing integration testing

the different interfaces, through which the MDM [Meter Data

Management] data, coming from CISCO [Customer information System],

gets stored in MDMS [Meter Data Management System]. As part of

testing, I needed to do detail field-by-field MDMS validation and

ensure that the data is proper in MDMS. If there were any

discrepancies, I raised the corresponding defects. So, the overall

involvement of mine was mostly limited to integration testing,

validation and documentation of the test result validation. I was also

playing the onsite coordinator role leading a team of 7 people [4 at

onsite + 3 at offshore] [tenure: 22 months].

. I am presently involved in Advanced Meter project working as "Systems

Analyst" in Sys Ops - Software (HE and MDMS Application Team) at

onsite to Los Angeles, CA, USA for SoCalGas (Southern California Gas

Company). The project is about implementing Smart Meter rollout in

SoCalGas, both in Collection System and MDMS perspective. I have been

involved in Functional (System) Testing [Test Case Preparation +

Execution + Defect Management] and Implementation of Aclara HeadEnd

and MDMS systems, 'End-to-End' Integration Test Case Preparation and

Execution, maintenance of custom interfaces from HE/MDMS to SCG's

enhance control over natural gas consumption and cost, from

late 2012 - 2017, SCG has started the process of upgrading 6

million gas meters with wireless communication devices to

automate recording and transmitting of gas usage information

to the customer service and billing center.
