Musgrove Energy Inc, Ponca City, Oklahoma (USA)

During my over 10 years at Musgrove Energy Inc, I have Engineered, Developed, Built,

Deployed, Maintained and Operated the SCADA Electronics, sensors and Radios/Net to

monitor, control and track oil and gas production of over 300 well sites, including processing

and holding facilities, production wells, disposal wells and transportation schemes.

As there was no monitoring or control systems used by the company when I was employed

by them, and a desire to build one, I have spent the last several years, designing and

implementing Radio monitoring and control of all production processes used, collaborating

with professions from effected fields of Radio, intro/intranet, sensor nets/application,

electronic equipment for data gathering, manipulation and movement - as well as

programming much of the software used for polling of said equipment, and presentation to

the operators, at both corporate and field level.

The scope of my responsibilities have included:

Working to install/overseeing installation of secondary power line grids to support necessary

electrical infrastructure.

Installation of equipment to control/supply electricity to field equipment.

Engineering/design of the hardware chosen/used to create necessary electronic

infrastructure for monitoring/control of field equipment.

Installation of sensor grids/nets to obtain required data for field safety, operational stats of

production sites or malfunction of equipment.

Development and deployment of the Radio/Intranet to carry that collected data (currently

covering over 500 miles of area not always accessible even by cell phones.

Development and programming of software currently used to gather and present realtime

conditions of monitored units, batteries and locations.

Maintenance, operation, repair and upgrading of all electric, electronic, computer, software

and radio equipment currently in use by Musgrove Energy.

Budgeting expenses of this ongoing project to maintain cost/development goals of the

company.

In addition to these duties, I have been responsible for or involved on a daily basis with all of

the following:

Visited the work place periodically to inspect and to avoid environmental problems, to

discuss with contractors and to control construction works.

Designed computer analysis systems to improve, test or modify design to meet client

engineering demands.

Presented information and documents about design, materials, equipment, costs, and

fulfillment terms.

Reported to management about production cost estimation and production progress.

Observed project sites to check progress and to guarantee adjustment to design instructions

and safety standards.

Led software programming and documentation and instructions creation.

Kept clients informed about software system design and gave support.

Revised current software to amend errors, adapted it to new hardware and ameliorated its

performance.

Offered technical guidance for environmental remediation and litigation projects.

Supervised production data, and planned modifications to improve production.

Established costs and figured production possibilities and economic value of oil and gas

sources, to determine economic feasibility.

Electrician - ( 01JAN03 - current)

Musgrove Energy Inc, Ponca City, Oklahoma (USA)

In addition to my duties described above, I have also served as the company lead

electrician.

My duties have or currently involve:

Installation of all electrical equipment used both in field, shop and office locations,

repair/replacement of damaged/unserviceable equipment, development and deployment of

lightning protection systems/grids (of required quality to protect said equipment in some of

the most volatile environments in this part of the country).

Project Engineering of new locations for construction of oil and gas production / interfacing

with other professionals/crews/labor to accomplish directed goals of production expansion.

Financial oversight of expenditures for equipment/systems/infrastructure installed, including

manpower.

Liaison between the company and many power supply entities, including Kay Electric, Indian

Electric and the Kansas Electrical Cooperative.

Regular inspection of power grid/supply, as well as the equipment supported by those grids.

Troubleshooting of non-operational systems/equipment to determine cause of failure,

necessary repairs and the design of protection systems to prevent repeat damages from

hostile environments, user error, inattention or apathy.

Journeyman Electronics Technician - ( 01MAR01 - 01AUG10)

United States Air Force, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (USA)

During my time in the US Air Force, I took extensive training, from basic to highly advanced -

electronics, radio (application/troubleshooting/repair/operation) and satellite function. Bench

testing/repair, antenna/cable systems, towers as well as fiber-optics (installation, application,

service, repair and maintenance) and was afforded opportunities to use this knowledge for

nearly 10 years, in every environment from the United States and Europe to combat zones

such as Iraq and Afghanistan.

I have been a part of more projects than I can count or remember. Being assigned to and

"E&I" (Engineering and Installation) Squadron, gave me the chance to involve myself in

everything from removal of facilities no longer in service, to design and installation of radio,

intranet, internet, phone, security, satellite communications and electrical systems the world

over.

While most if this experience is useful to me in my current employment, it has given me a

wide range of experience in the application of an impressive number of systems from

electrical to signal, used by every production/manufacturing or monitoring/communications

company in the world.

Examples of further duties include:

Operated and maintained communication equipment in good condition.

Took rapid and advantageous decisions to fulfill each mission.

Provided doctrine, organized and arranged equipment for diverse campaigns.

Transcripts for credits/requirements have been ordered from the CCAF, as my

certifications and achievements in training are more than I can remember at this point -

though, if memory serves, I would still need around 5 credit hours (English / Math ?) to

obtain my Associate of Applied Electrical Sciences Degree.
