ACCOMPLISHMENTS

With a sales background that started in landscaping while in high school, I

have focused most of my career in sales. Beginning in automotive sales at

a Mercedes Benz, Volvo dealership in Southern Oregon, a move to Southern

California allowed me to work for the #2 Honda dealership in California,

where personal sales consistently ranked at the top. After settling in

Chicago with my family, a change to footwear, led me to Nordstrom in Men's

Shoes at Oakbrook Center. That move provided me with skills I carry today.

Working for the #3 volume shoe department in the country gave me the

experience and confidence necessary to work with them as a wholesale

supplier.

Departing Nordstrom for a wholesale opportunity with Havana Joe exposed me

to both domestic, retail sales, distribution and marketing as well as

international sales, marketing and manufacturing. Being a startup company

in North America, Havana Joe was a great education for every aspect of

creating, marketing, and managing a national brand. Hands on and self

taught, nothing is to daunting. Power point presentations to simple word

documents are strong areas for me. Given the chance to work with every

segment of the footwear business has provided me with valuable

relationships throughout the country. My course has guided me through

independent retail environments, national and upscale department stores,

first cost, special make up, closeout opportunities and more. It would be
