To Whom It May Concern:

I am seeking an opportunity to provide hazard awareness, safety instruction

and inspections. For the past 15 years I have been involved in leasing

heavy duty construction equipment and training of equipment. My experience

include: 20 years performing at the journeyman level and foreman with

structural sheet metal, working various steel structures and stainless

steel partitions. These have ranged from military ships, barges, and

privately owned vessels, to helicopters as well as nuclear and fossil fuel

power plants. These experiences include: welding stainless steel coating

tanks to sheet metal and steel support hangers for a new plant; working on

new robotics in an auto manufactures new assembly line; working at a fossil

fuel power plant, lagging and welding off swinging stage scaffolding;

Foreman for installing pan and metal roofing at a freight terminal, and

installed and designed a new fiberglass duct system for the building,

getting the material onto the roof with a helicopter; and various projects

throughout construction phases at nuclear power plants. These have

including support steel, torque air circulation fans, underground

circulation fans, core drilling, setting framework, and working on

breaching and installation of louvers on the conveyor system. As Forman, I

had to train employees and ensure the safety of my company's employees at

various other projects.

Specific employers and my duties have been as follows:

Parsons: I am currently employed with Parsons as a safety specialist with a

"DOD" Secret Clearance.

In Compliance Safety and Training: I have had a safety consulting company

for over five years, doing inspections, creating AHA's and APP's and also

training programs. One contactor I have worked with was Whiting-Turner as

an inspector and also provided training programs for them. Also worked at

Fort Belviour as a third party inspector on the OCAR Building on the

erection construction.

Theros Equipment: Rental and sales of heavy equipment and provided safety

training for equipment.

NES Equipment: Same as above, training and safety programs for equipment.

In working with this local company I trained on equipment leased.

Brandon Shores: Worked as a journeyman sheet metal worker and ensured the

safety of my fellow employees, working on swinging stage scaffolding.

Trained employees on scaffolding

Local 19: Safety officer at Hope Creek Power Plant

Limerick and Hope Creek: Local union safety representative

Ample Sheet Metal: Welding of steel supports and spray booths at the Ford

Plant, and installation of steel for robotics system at the General Motors

Plant

Owens Corning, Industrial Division: Steel Erection, Aerial equipment,

Telehandler, forklifts, warehouse forklifts, skid steers, and backhoes

I believe my 35 plus years in construction-related business, along with my

current OSHA training and certification; have enabled me to deliver a

quality Safety program. I possess the knowledge, skills, experience,

understanding, communication skills, and the ability to manage customer

expectations. I believe that all of these skills would be beneficial to

your company, in meeting the organizational mission and goals, and to

provide the best safety training and solutions experience possible.

Thank you for taking the time to review my resume, and I look forward to

hearing back from you soon.

Respectfully,

Tom Herb
