Project details

The project with Ericsson primarily involves the implementation of

Middleware over and including Websphere MQ, MB, WTX and SBI (Informatica

and SAP XI being the others and few legacy implementations that will be

removed as part of current migration projects) for all its operations.

Responsibilities of middleware include transfer of the Financial, marketing

and product data between legacy or third party systems and Ericsson, as

well as within Ericsson.

The Middleware architecture at Ericsson contains a mix of EAI and ETL

implementations which integrate more than 120 Applications with each other

and the SAP systems.

AO team, works as a post release team with team members having knowledge on

deployments done earlier and have ability provide functional guidance to

the business whenever requested.

Under ERICSSON ACCOUNT I was working in EBIP team(Enterprise Business

Integration Platform). EBIP is designed to replace the existing integration

platforms and put in place a single integration platform replacing the

several integration platforms currently in-use. The consolidation is to

help reduce overall integration costs by migrating traffic from current

integration platforms (e.g. DEC/EDI, SeeBeyond) to EBIP and rapid on-

boarding of Partners as well as support Ericsson IT strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

MB Development

V As a developer worked to develop a common logging mechanism called

log4j.

Which contains customized code and UDN setup using compute node and java

compute node. Any project which is going live will use this common

component to record the logs.

V Bug fixes on code implemented by Third party those are based on HTTPS

and

Restful services.

V Enhancement of the code provided by the third party to improve the

performance.

MB Administrator

V Took complete ownership of Upgrade project and delivered the things on

time with successful result.

V Installing and configuring message broker version 7 and 8 in windows and

Solaris platform.

V Parallel installation and Inplace installation of Websphere Message

Broker and configuration of ODBC and JDBC connectivity to the database.

V Developed scripts to improve the performance of environment like enable

logs for MB,auto archiving, deployment script, broker backup and queue

manager backup scripts.
