The objective of the project is to provide production support for the

Siebel / Vitria production applications. It is the responsibility of the

production support team to ensure that the Siebel / Vitria applications are

constantly running and that each order placed is successfully provisioned.

The ESP team works on errors in all the systems. The Atlys errors, which

are not resolved, will be assigned to the NBR Root Cause Analysis. The NBR

RCA team will analyze the root cause for the problem and classify the

errors and talk to Convergys (third party vendor maintaining the Atlys

issues) to resolve the issues. Process flow involves the systems namely

Siebel (front end), Vitria (Middleware), Infoflo, Number management system

and Switch management system

Responsibilities:

Responsible for resolving the problem issues (tickets) generated in Vitria

with the help of Remedy and associated tools. Fully knowledgeable about all

aspects of the applications and the several systems needed to support the

applications including operation, interfaces, architecture, workflow

processes and business functionality to provide the required production

support. Any type of issues (tickets) will be worked and the SLA for the

tickets is 90% of the tickets to be completed within 24 Hours and 100% of

complete Java was planned. The new enhancements includes a few client side

programming using Java Script to enable web based entry forms to do simple
