JOB PROFILE :

Monitoring inward, in process and final part inspection.

Strong focus on quality improvement of automotive components (Fabrication,

assembly)

Involvement in designing new gauges.

Monitoring and analyzing rejection levels at all stages.

Reading drawings, utilizing General Dimensioning and Tolerance .

Review and approve Supplier ISIR’s, responsibility of releasing vendor parts.

Maintaining quality approvals, daily quality reports, daily inspection reports.

Calibration of all Fixtures & Welding Machines.

PPAP document handling of silencer for new Pulsar 200 NS.

Discussion with Quality Engg. Of customer organization about various quality

concerns & attending customer quality issues.

Maintaining 5S activity on shop floor.

Taking initiatives for safe operating process.

Line improvement by doing KAIZEN.

Root cause analysis for any defects in product & preparation of action plan &

corrective action.

Responsible for supplier quality development.

Attention toward the supplier quality, quarterly audit of each vendor along with

purchase engineer.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

Project Handle: Development of silencer for new Pulsar 200 NS.

Preparation of required PPAP & APQP documents according to customer.

Installing fixture for the same line set up according to mention process flow and

continuous study of process during manufacturing of job & if required

modification in process, fixture to achieve minimum defect.

Project Handle: Minimizing the Non Value Adding Task.

Inspection of jobs with lots of dimension is one of the major non value

adding tasks & requires number of inspectors. Thus maintaining maximum

dimensions in fixtures & introduction of new fixtures & templates for the fitment of

sub parts for which fixtures or templates are not available. Hence successfully

completed the project for many components & reduces inspection time as-well-as

production time.

Project Handle: Control over the Weld Bead Size & Welding Wire

Consumption.

Previously due to un-awareness regarding the weld beads among the

welder, they practice to keep the weld beads on higher side, thus consumption of

welding wire was much more as compared to theoretical calculation. Also due to

gap between to mating part in many of the job, consumption was more. Hence,

conducted training program for welders regarding the basic welding symbols &

also displayed live samples of weld bead size, types of welding & different welding

defects on the shop floor. So that welder can compare their welding with the

sample & in result consumption reduces & weld quality increases .
