As a tire recycling power facility, KTI is one of four of its kind throughout the United States.

The company recycled used tires to produce a fuel which in turn was used to power a 23

megawatt facility. Additionally, KTI produced a material known as “crumb rubber” used in

asphalt and safety surface production. Subsidiaries of KTI include a waste to power

facility, a glass recycling facility and a timber to energy facility.

Environmental Manager of projects for four major processing and production facilities: Tire

Energy Power Plant, Cryogenic Tire Processing Plant, and two Recycling Facilities.

Ensured compliance with environmental health and safety and industrial hygiene

regulations on federal and local levels. Established and implemented EPA/OSHA training

directives, improving plant efficiency and workflow.
