DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ø Verify and check the quality of all welding works. Ø Ensure that all works are carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with client’s technical specification.

Ø Review and compile all WPS/PQR to be utilized for the project. Ø Prepare Q.C. Procedures (ITP, Dimension Control Procedure, etc.). Ø Review and compile all working Project Procedures and Method Statements. Ø Prepare welder’s list and welder’s I.D. / Pass for client’s approval. Ø Monitor welder’s performance and prepare records for submission to client. Ø Prepare weekly reports on NDT results for weekly progress meeting. Ø Carry out physical inspection (Visual, MT/PT, radiographic interpretation) as required by the project.

Ø Review test packages and prepare inspection log sheets for inclusion in test packages. Ø Compile proper record and documentation of all welding works and related NDT works. Ø Liaise with all NDT sub-contractors; plan and monitor their work and ensure they perform their work properly.

Ø Verify all supplied materials against the mill certificates and related documents. Ø Liaise with clients, for inspection and document review. EQUIPMENTS HANDLED
