EXPERIENCE

New Product Development Engineer, Titeflex Inc. Oct. 2012 - present

. Development of new low gas permeation flexible PTFE hose for

automobile and aerospace applications

Senior Product Development Chemist, Arlon Inc. Materials for Electronic

Division, Jan. 2005 - Oct. 2012

. Development of PTFE/fiber glass based composite materials for

electronic applications

The main parts of this job are formulation of PTFE dispersion with

ceramic fillers, coating on fiber glass and lamination with copper

foil to make high performance laminates.

As the principal inventor of several new products (CLTE-XT, CLTE-AT,

high TC), I took responsibilities from laboratory design, pilot

production run, all the way to final products.

J. Wynne) Aug. 2003 - Jan. 2005

. Processing of fluoropolymers such as PTFE, PCTFE, in supercritical

CO2. The main purpose of this project is to improve mechanical

properties of fluoropolymer such as creep resistance, crystallinity

etc. with the aid of supercritical CO2.

Visiting Scholar, University of Cincinnati (Advisor: Dr. James E.

Mark) Dec. 1997 - Sept. 1998

. Prepared and performed mechanical testing and morphology study of

pyrolytically synthesized silica /PDMS nanocomposites
