terminating, training, counseling and creating employee events), facility management (maintenance,

repair, upgrades, etc.), customer management (initial customer contact, customer retention, customer

satisfaction, customer events, accounts receivable), evaluation and submission of financial records to

financial institutions, advertising decisions and ad design, reviewing of all dealership / vendor contracts

and negotiations of such, accounts payable, corresponding with dealership attorney and accountant,

employee and customer safety issues / liabilities, maintained insurance coverage for workers

compensations, liability and garage coverage. Maintained policies and procedures mandated by General

Motors. Aided in maintaining dealership website. In 2004 – 2006, managed the construction of the new

dealership facility from the ground up resulting in a timely completion and immense savings.

Responsible for all accounting responsibilities in this General Motors franchised dealership in

accordance with standard GM accounting guidelines. Posting of all invoices, generating payroll,

accounts receivable and accounts payable. Monitoring of vehicle inventory and floorplan accounts with

financial institutions. Responsible for ad creation for TV, radio and print media. Maintaining employee

safety training records. Generation of reports and payments for weekly, monthly and quarterly tax

reporting / payments.

CREATIVITY

I have always been involved creatively in my community, workplace or personally. I have designed or

TV ads, radio ads, and print ads. I have painted (2) murals on businesses in Heber Springs. I have stage

directed multiple performances at a performing arts theater and have written scripts. I have designed

and constructed a set for a performance which generated proceeds for the benefit of local community

organizations. I thoroughly enjoy creative projects and the “hands-on” experience.

I have also designed an interactive website for my employer for an interest he had outside of the

automobile dealership.

IN ADDITION...

I am currently co-owner of GhettoWorks Marine & More in Heber Springs, Arkansas. This marine

dealership was established by myself and the other owner in 2003. It is a Bombardier / Sea Doo

watercraft and Sea-Ark certified dealership. Sales, service and parts & accessories. It also includes retail

sales of boating, swimming, skiing, tubing and wake-boarding products and accessories.
