SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Installation and commissioning of HV & MV equipments, arranging inspections, and get safety certificate

• Periodical maintenance of HV, MV and LV equipments

• Emergency break downs and fault findings at shop floor level

• Coordinate in Formation of systematic procedure setup for Production and customer support Department in ISO:9001 implementation

• Maintenance of 2.5, 1.5 MW Power Plant and 500 KVA LT Gen set

• Sectional Head of Electrical Maintenance and able to lead the team of electrical engineers and handling the entire plant electrical maintenance activities.

• Sound knowledge of electricity act and rule and able to coordinate with state electricity board and other related authority for day to day work and for new electrical expansion/up gradation.

• Knowledge of Operation and maintenance of Diesel / HFO based engines for power generation (captive power plant) and shall be able to do the day to day trouble shooting of the same.

• Sound knowledge of LT/HT switch gears, variable frequency drive, UPS, Diesel generator (DG), AMF etc and should be able to read and understand control circuit diagram and its interface with DCS etc.

• Implement equipment wise preventive maintenance plan within targeted norms for spares consumption and labor utilization. Forecasting the spares requirement and executing maintenance schedules planning for all Electrical related equipments/systems.

• Planning for shut down maintenance with details of activities, manpower and spare planning with minimum time frame and within given budget.

• Initiate and execute improvement projects pertaining to energy saving, cost control, enhance and latest electrical system and good engineering practices.
