B rief about my career

My working career started in the year 2004 providing me varied experiences in the field of

S HG’s (Self Help Groups),Sponsor Ship Program, Education, Biodiversity Conservation and

Contraceptive Social Marketing program. Presently I am associated with PHS(I) designated as

an IEC State Coordinator for Jharkhand. So in a nutshell l ife provided me an opportunity to

work in different sectors, in different areas with different cultural set up providing me fruitful

experiences.

Population Health Services ( India) March2011 to

January 2013

Recruited as I EC Coordinator Jharkhand under the Contraceptive Social Marketing

P rogram (CSMP) NACP -3 funded by National AIDS Control Organization, New

Delhi.

Population Health Services (India) is a not for profit non-governmental organization,

a ffiliated to M arie Stopes International, Head quartered at Hyderabad with its branch office

i n Ranchi and in several states of India. The main objective of PHSI is to provide high quality

family planning and reproductive health care services to the community, with particular

emphasis on serving the undeserved and vulnerable groups in society .PHSI provides

reproductive health care services to people all over India, allowing them to have children by

choice not chance. It manages clinics and outreach voluntary surgical services to provide

contraceptive services and products in remote areas. The organisation does this by promoting,

d istributing and selling contraceptives. At present the organisation is the Social Marketing

O rganization of, Jharkhand under CSMP - NACO.

Program Oriented

Implementation and Monitoring the M id – Media Communication program(Promoters

led and Rural Van Activity) in high priority districts of Jharkhand.

Providing Jharkhand State AIDS Control Society the reports on the progress of the

p roject.

Meeting with TSG (Technical Support Group) officials i.e. SSM (State Sales Manager),

RSM (Regional Sales Manager), National Communication Manager,

Operations Manager NACO and sharing the progress of the project and accompanying

t he officials for monitoring the activity in different districts of Jharkhand.

Meeting with the T.I( Target Intervention) organisation and sharing the monthly plan

of the communication activity.

Receiving quotations and issuing work order to the vendors interested for the mid-

media communication activity.

Achievement of the targets as per the time frame and sending Data reports to Head

office, NACO and JSACS.

Joined as Assistant Program Coordinator under the Project Shiksha Se Pariva rtan

f unded by Edukans, The Netherlands.

SPAR a National Level Organisation with its head office situated at Kolkata, having its

b ranch offices in the Jharkhand, Orissa and West Bengal. The organisation works for the

empowerment of the marginalized sections of the society through the implementation of

community development projects. One of the main works the SPAR is involved is in the sector

of Education of the girls through opening residential schools in rural areas observing the

l iving standards of the population. At the same time the organisation is devoted to the

conservation of natural resources through the implementation of project making the area more

eco- friendly and making the population aware of the urgency for the conservation process.
