TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain project schedules (Microsoft Project); write specifications and

test procedures; perform risk analysis and FMEA; design analog / digital /

power circuits (OrCAD Capture) and layouts (Eagle); create assembly,

firmware embedded (PIC, 6800, DSPs) and high level software (Visual Basic,

C); design interfaces (GUI), network structure and databases (SQL); perform

mechanical design (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and design for PCB Processes

(through hole, surface mount, bond wiring, flip chip, wave and vacuum

reflow); select components; produce BOMs, drawings (GD&T) and models;

perform design and worst case analysis; oversee builds and testing; write

submission reports and Design History Files (DHF); define Engineering

Change Orders (ECOs); review production processes; create automated testers

(Labview), presentations and graphics; perform FAT for QA; and maintain

product after production.

chamber system that is flexible enough to offer customers easily

upgradable capabilities at lower cost.

. Managed software team to produce a cohesive and secure network system.

. Resolved existing issues that delayed CSA product certification,

allowing chamber shipments.

Corrected power source and grounding flaws, motor speed algorithm,

display timing and torque compensation software within first 40 days

. Used through hole connector as surface mount interface for Touch Pad

spacing, reducing cost.

. Developed two custom brushless motor (BLDC) driver circuits reducing

circuit cost.

. Created automated PCB tester hardware & Labview software for

. Designed Blend Door module & restructured gears for safe travel

detection software.

. Led team of 1 ME and 1 ET in developing Torque Sensor for Power

Steering.

. Designed analog magnet field sensor circuit and custom pick-up coil

packaging.

. Resolved error in existing Saturn Chime, reversing customer loss of

confidence.

. Designed next version of Saturn Chime module, eliminating previous
