employee company relations based on the development of an issue free work
environment by working on individual employee concerns as they arose.
. Helped to develop and implement a new attendance policy which resulted
in a 10% reduction in absenteeism.
Director of Engineering (1988-1993)
Responsible for the development and installation of automated machine
process systems. To initiate and track abrasive and coolant research
to improve quality and productivity. Trained floor supervisors in the
production processes and to oversee maintenance personnel who reported
directly to them. Mechanical and process training of operator
personnel was performed by me in conjunction with production supervision.
- 57% reduction in personnel as a result of automation and
abrasive research.

automation, abrasive research and enhanced employee
