Objective

To apply exceptional critical thinking, leadership, and nursing skills to

help patients/residents obtain maximum wellness along side other skilled

nurses within my scope of practice.

Experience

March 2012-November 2012 - Held night shift charge nurse position at

Gateway Family House Retirement Community. Duties included independently

distributing scheduled medications to 65-75 residents in a timely manner

as well as keeping medication orders up to date and ordering resident's

new and existing medications from facility pharmacy, supervising nursing

assistants as well as assisting with employee scheduling.

January 2009-January 2012 - Studied practical nursing, obstetrics, and IV

therapy at Willoughby-Eastlake School of Practical Nursing. During this

time I gained exceptional nursing experience at various facilities

including Lakewest Hospital's Monitored Care Unit and Division 4 Cardiac

Unit, Broadview Rehabilitation Center, Hartland of Mentor Assisted Living

Facility, and Lake-Med Nursing Home.

May 2007-December 2008 - Held Resident Caretaker position at Gateway

Family House Retirement Community. Duties included providing partial to

full assistance with activities of daily living to residents as well as

documenting resident progress and interventions performed.

August 2004-June 2005 - Obtained a position providing basic patient care

and patient transportation at Metro Health Hospital.

Education

January 2012 - Graduated Willoughby-Eastlake School of Practical Nursing.

IV therapy certified. Obtained nursing license March 2012

August 2010-June2011 - Studied geriatric psychology

Skills

Since I was a small girl I have always held a strong desire to impact

peoples lives in a positive and helping way. I've always been well known

for lending a hand to those in need, without judgment. I own strong

leadership skills as well as teamwork, I enjoy working with others

striving for a greater cause. I am a very easy person to get along with

for I enjoy meeting new people, and I hope to have the blessing to one

day meet you! (
