I have over 30 years of construction experience and have supervised a number of historic renovations and
commercial projects including The Eisenhower Executive Office Building, U.S. Treasury A Building and the
Library of Congress.
I have just completed a job with Satterfield & Pontikes, Inc. from Houston, Texas. My position was Health
and Safety Manager on their project in Harpers Ferry. The project was several buildings for the Advanced
Training Center for the US Customs and Border Patrol. In order to stay with this company, I would have had
to relocate to Texas. My home and family are in Northern Va., which is where I want to stay.
In the past several years, I have worked on new construction including interior renovations and completing
new building projects which are listed in my resume. I was one of two superintendents on the 650,000 sq.
Ft. hospital building at Bethesda Naval Hospital location which was completed ahead of schedule. This
hospital is the new Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
I am looking for long term employment and bring expertise, a commitment for timely and correct completion
to any project I am assigned. My duties have included coordinating the scheduling of subcontractor work
forces, preparing monthly CPM updates and conducting daily quality control assurance inspections for
contract compliance enforcement. My responsibilities have also included contract document interpretation,
requisitions to owners for payments and accounting for subcontractor payments, along with weekly
interactions with owner’s representatives. I have had a Secret Clearance in the past which is not active but I
know of no reason that this Clearance couldn’t be reactivated.
