Plant Manager, Niagara Generation, LLC May 2012 April 2013

Responsible for the operation, maintenance, safety well being of 36 employees at a 50 MW biomass electric power generating facility. This facility was mothballed for two years prior to assuming duties as PM. Restarted the unit and made several equipment modifications and repairs in order to sustain efficient operations/output. Worked extensively with onsite maintenance technicians and local contracting firms in NF and Buffalo.

Operations/Maintenance Manager. Thermal Energy Mar 2010 Dec 2011

Responsible for the operation and maintenance of a 20MW biomass power plant, supervising 20 personnel, creating an atmosphere of teamwork among all operators, turning a struggling facility into one with the highest production numbers seen in 5 years. The last two major outages were completed under budget and two days ahead of schedule utilizing strong leadership skills. Utilize Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to revise a procedure that had caused an avoidable forced outage.

Project Coordinator, Atlantic Marine Florida, LLC 2009 2010

Coordinate shipboard work between all crafts within the shipyard to include sea valve replacement, shaft propeller removal reinstallation, hull repair paint, and various other repairs. Familiar with Navy Specifications, Standard Items and Local Standard Items from SERMC.

Operations Manager, Niagara Generation, LLC 2006 - 2009

Responsible for the operation of a 50 MW steam generating power plant (CFB) and the training/safety of 30 personnel. In addition to Operations duties, was the Safety Manager, Training Coordinator for both operations and safety. Created a safety/operations training program with power point presentations/tests where there was none and created a procedures manual that is used by all of the staff today.
