Dear Hiring Manager:

My husband and I are in the process of relocating to the Buffalo area. I am searching for a job that provides me the opportunity to utilize my skills and expertise acquired from 32+ years of office administration experience. I possess 22 years of experience supporting Vice President and Director level executives.

Currently, I am responsible for ensuring the Vice President's Division operates in a smooth, efficient manner. My duties often include: budgetary review/monitoring, bill payment, account resolution, dealing with highly sensitive personnel matters, gathering and compiling information to support initiatives of the Vice President and Division, working with internal and external executives, juggling calendar appointments, screening phone calls, creating/working with spreadsheets, creating PowerPoint presentations, coordinating meetings/activities, ghost writing (by originating correspondence for executives and other management level employees), and many other aspects of a busy executive's daily routine.

I have also worked as a Project Manager. In this position, I coordinated all activities involved with the installation of telecommunications equipment in offices ranging in size from Mom and Pop businesses to large Fortune 500 corporations. The Project Manager's job requires detailed organization, face-to-face customer contacts, personnel supervision and follow-up after the job is complete to ensure the customer's satisfaction. As a Project Manager, I wore many different hats: organizer, coordinator, instructor, investigator, diplomat, negotiator, counselor, facilitator and inventory specialist. This job also required the ability to develop a close working relationship with the customer.

My resume is enclosed to provide additional information relative to the qualifications I possess and experience I will bring to the job. I feel certain I am the right candidate for this job and assure you I will be an asset to your organization.

Also included is a listing of professional references and my salary history. I believe a fair salary is in the range of $29,000 - $35,000 per year. This range takes into account my previous experience as an Administrative Assistant, Executive Assistant, Senior Executive Assistant and a Project Manager. However, I am open to further discussion of the salary for this position. I would be available to begin working after March 1, 2013. There will be no delay searching for housing as I currently own a home in the area.

I look forward to meeting with you to further discuss my skills and administrative proficiencies. I can be reached on 512-***-**** (office), 512-***-**** (cell) or via email, abqpkw@r.postjobfree.com.
