Director of Tennis, Indian Springs Country Club 1990 - 2010

During my career at Indian Springs Country Club, I was responsible for initiating and implementing programs and procedures which enabled the facility to experience significant growth in both membership and gross revenue. Below is a list of some of my accomplishments:

Built an adult tennis program which started with only one USTA team to a program which, at the time of my departure, consisted of over 48 adult teams.

Initiated a Juniors program which grew consistently over the years to a program which had over 350 participants. This program produced many local and state champions as well as players that have obtained NCAA and Division rankings as high as 48th in the Nation.

Consistently increased Gross Revenues.

Consistently increased membership. When I joined Indian Springs, there were 16 members. At the time of my departure, there were over 200 active tennis members. Additionally, of the 500 full privilege memberships, there were140 members who were also active in tennis programs.

Managed and grew the pro shop, which started with zero inventories, to a pro shop which at the time of my departure, had in excess of $22,000 in inventory and produced approximately $80,000 in annual revenue.

Initiated and implemented the addition of both indoor and outdoor tennis courts. Started with nine outdoor courts (three of which were not usable) and a non-usable bubble which housed three courts.

There are currently 10 beautiful outdoor courts and four beautiful indoor courts.

Hosted both mens and womens pro-am tournaments for 18 years. These tournaments drew players with NCAA rankings as well as world ranked players.

Continually managed adult leagues, junior leagues, pro shop mixers and various tournaments and events.

Proven leadership skills. I have successfully managed my staff which included assistant pros, front desk personnel, maintenance staff as well as the childcare staff.
