I have twenty-eight years experience working in technology development, product implementation, and intrapreneurship. My background covers all phases of technology advancement including; market research, business model and value stream development, corporate intrapreneurship and open innovation, transitioning of new developing high tech programs into production and related fabrication facilities. Early in my career I worked as a research chemist performing analytical chemistry on materials and conducting failure analyses on electronics industry materials and components.

CURRENT PROFILE

Currently I am working as an innovation manager for an Aerospace and Defense Company. Present work activities involve generating new business for the company, and in particular, developing key marketing strategies, business models, and value propositions for newly evolving technology. In addition, I perform market and company research for potential MA targets. I am a reviewer of new technology based ideas submitted to idea collection systems or innovation engines.

Other areas of current work include chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive (CBRNE) sensor technology, entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial organizational development, innovation factors and dynamics, force protection and homeland security sensor architectures, non-lethal effectors, integrated systems, and IO/IA. I have also been involved with engineering for Hypersonics flight and related material sciences. I spend time exploring and researching technology intersections, and opportunities for technology re-use.

PAST PROFILE

First job out of college was working as an Analytical Chemist doing research on electronic materials, I continued into areas of high tech manufacturing engineering, semi-conductor reliability, and general program management. Detailed areas of experience include:

Program Office staff member, large scale program planning and operations management, including program financials, earned value systems, integrated master planning / integrated master scheduling, resource management, customer liaison functions, and top level program budget management.

Eighteen (18) plus years technical manager experience working in a variety of manufacturing environments, Microelectronics production (General Dynamics / Raytheon), Semiconductor wafer fabrication and reliability (Harris Semi-Conductors), Mult-Missile factories (Raytheon), circuit card and printed wiring board assembly (General Dynamics / Raytheon), Exo-atmospheric Kill Vehicle (EKV) systems engineering hardware / production development.

Twenty plus (20) years leading teams of individuals from professional engineers to operations touch labor employees, including R6Sigma efforts, failure mode effects analysis (FMEA), and manufacturing process improvement activities.

Sixteen (16) plus years experience working with Military and Commercial customers. Supporting program reviews, budget reviews, facility and new product qualifications, failure analysis investigations at all levels of missile / tech. systems production.
