Jim has an educational background in civil engineering from the University of
Toronto. Jim has a solid foundation in engineering design and analysis
methodologies and is also knowledgeable in structural engineering. Jim was
employed directly after graduation and gained 2 years of engineering
experience. Technically, Jim is skilled in executing CAD design and support,
preparing specification documentations and providing interdepartmental
communications. Under guidance from JSD, Jim is currently assisting in
project management and contract administration, investigation of building
envelope failures, project supervision, and reserve fund studies. Jim is
focused on developing a career in building science, with the goal of becoming
a registered Building Science Professional Engineer in the next few years.
