Reckitt & Colman Canada Inc., 1986 - 1988

Division of multinational consumer goods company, with portfolio turnover ~ $40 MM.

Recruited as Group Product Manager, Food, to reduce trade spend and lead new product development.

Negotiated trade terms rollback from 50% to 35% on French’s Sauces and Spices through program of consumer-directed merchandising and promotional programs and first packaging updates in 20 years. Guided launch of FRENCH'S GOURMET COLLECTION Sauce Mixes (Western Canada/Ontario, 1987) the company's first advertised entry in this category.

Cadbury Schweppes Canada Inc., 1985 - 1986

$150 MM division of a major multinational Consumer Goods company

Reporting to Marketing Manager, recruited as Product Manager, CARAMILK to reverse 5-year sales decline.

Reversed 5-year sales decline on CARAMILK and increased market share from 4.5% to 6.8%.Doubled market share RUM & BUTTER brand in 1986, supported by innovative sales incentive program.Sourced new packaging process generating annualized savings of $100M in Canada and $1MM in USA.

$30 MM Canadian subsidiary of multinational Consumer Goods organization
