Engineering Technology/InternDesigned and conducted HALT and HASS overstress tests on the Gigabit Switch Router (GSR) and Catalyst 6000 switch.Generated new IOS configurations and IXIA test profiles to thoroughly stress the route processor and line cards on the GSR.Took the initiative to completely redesign the group web site. Coded and rolled out the new web site using Perl, SSI (Server Side Includes), and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) to produce a dynamic, user-friendly site. Drastically reduced site maintenance and update time from several days to just minutes by automating document posting and retrieval process. Trained other team members and produced documentation on how to maintain and add features to the new web site.Coordinated with multiple organizations within the company to get the equipment and resources necessary to conduct lab experiments and redesign the web site.Analyzed thousands of field failure records to determine what products had the highest failure rates and arranged for those boards to be tested in the lab.Performed advanced error failure analysis on returned products where the failure analysis engineers could not duplicate the customer’s failure.
