I have a total of 9 years of experience in the hospital, 6 years at Good Shepherd community Hospital and 3 years at St. Mary's Medical center. While at Good Shepherd I worked as an Intensive care nurse which included cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, hemodynamic monitoring, as well as cared for ventilator patience. In the 3 years I worked at St. Mary's I worked as an Intensive care nurse as well as a Trauma nurse.
In addition to my experience in the hospital I also have an additional 17 years combined experience working in Long term care as a NAC, LPN, and RN. Of those 17 years the last sixteen have been spent working as a Charge nurse RN. As a charge nurse it is responsibility to supervise training, education, and cares given by the NAC'S. It is also my responsibility to train and support new nurses.
