I am looking for a position in industrial design (or product design). Unfortunately, I cannot post any pictures on this website. If I could, I think you would be impressed. The pictures of the kit that I designed and manufactured for the C5 Corvette are particularly impressive. Harlan Charles, the Corvette product manager, gave me his celebrity award at the Corvettes at Carlisle car show. He picked my car out of seven thousand Corvettes for his award. For the last few years, I have been renovating homes in the Victorian Village area near downtown Columbus, Ohio. This past September, our house was on the Victorian Village Tour of Homes. A six page article about our house was published in the Columbus Monthly magazine to promote the tour. Although there were many more exotic and interesting homes on the tour, most guests considered our house the most livable. However, it is my desire to get back into design work because that is what I love to do.

Previous employers in the design field included Maidware Corp. in Newark, Ohio; and contract work at Brownlie Design in Skaneateles, NY, and IDC in Plainfield, CT. I also worked as an estimator for Ohio Plastics, an injection molding company. I have experience in injection molding, fiberglass work, vacuum forming, and CAD.

Prior to going back to school for design at Columbus College of Art and Design, I worked eleven years as a project manager for the electric utility company, American Electric Power, in Columbus, Ohio. There, I wrote construction contracts, solicited bids from contractors, administered contracts once work began, forcasted construction expenditures, developed detailed construction schedules, expidited material shipments, and led progress review meetings.

My education includes a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University. An MBA from Capital University, and three years studying industrial design at Columbus College of Art and Design.

Elected positions held include Student Government President, Kennett Consolidated High School; Trustee of the Colony Park Civic Association; Commodore of the Columbus Sailing Club; and board member of the Columbus Ski Club.
