Brief Summary: Starting as a sales rep for Block Distributing in Sept 1984, I have been in the Wine Business in South Texas for over 20 years working with both large to small boutique Distributors . Working for Blocking Dist., in 1984 starting out as a wine rep then to wine manager responsible for wine sales, Sales force & Customer educational seminar, kicked off a wine futures purchasing program (Bordeaux, Burgundy), responsible for VIP and Press Media Events. I persuaded ownership to source and purchase an in house publishing system after discovering what they were paying for out sourcing. Saved them over $75K per year and capture an additional 25% of the restaurant wine menu business.

I recently moved from Domaine & Estates South Texas management position with Glazers Wholesale & Drug to help build a small boutique Distributor Avante Beverages in 2007. While at Avante Beverages and recently purchased by Favorite Brands I have continued to increase sales year over year on average in the 40% range. Primarily with sales to fine wine independent and chain retail as well as on premise accounts. Using many forms of communication technology to market limited available wines, presales, wine futures which have been extremely successful for me. Biggest Presale was over $300K on one portfolio

In June 2011 Avant Beverages was purchased by LnF Budweiser Distributor in McAllen Texas the 3rd largest Bud distributor in the nation. My Goal is to Build on the large customer base in Texas that I already communicate with on a huge scale and support with seminars and training to increase their sales of all brands represented. To reach out touch and visit all key account buyers with content rich electronic marketing on an order of 5 to 10 times a week. Giving special focus to key accounts with first look, first shot on very limited Iconic wines or spirits.

My Goal : Build customer loyalty and grow business using all my years of experience.

March 2004 October 2007 Covered San Antonio, Hill to the South Texas border, supporting local sales and managers with direct selling/ presales, futures and e-marketing Domestic and Foreign portfolio. Sales calls to Corporate chain buyers as well as independent fine wine buyers on and off premise. I was responsible for management support and helped increased Glazer's fine wine sales in the Valley to 40% on average. Documentation available.

H.E.R.S - Hydrocarbon Environmental Recovery Systems 1994-2003 Minority partner and responsible for marketing remediation programs, Microbial cleaning products, emergency spill kits, monitoring, testing remediation of contaminated surfaces and soil for local and national companies covering heavy equipment suppliers, all refueling stations, truck stops, storage facilities etc... Making sure customers were meeting all Texas state Environmental codes with various programs. Largest Customer landed was the Flying J Truck stop, domestic and international.

Glazers Wholesale and Drug Company. 1992-1993 San Antonio Area Sales On and off premise. Glazers absorbed both American Wine and Importing & Lone Star Distributors this year.
