(2011) First Print Music Publication: Humbug!

(2008 - present) Swainsboro High School (Emanuel County Schools) -- Choral Director 9-12 (2008-2011 I was choral director and general music teacher at both Swainsboro Middle and Swainsboro High).

12 Students participated in District 10 Honor Chorus, November 2009.

3 GMEA All State Chorus Students

2010 AA Region Literary Meet: Boys Solo - Second Place, Girls Trio - Second Place, Girls Solo - Third Place

(2005-2008) J. R. Trippe Middle School (Vidalia, GA) -- Band Director 6-8, Assistant Band Director Vidalia High School.

JRTMS Band went to festival for the first time in many years and scored straight superior ratings.

2007-2008 System Teacher of the Year

(2003-present) Vidalia First United Methodist Church (Vidalia, GA) -- Adult Choir Director, Worship Leader and Pianist.

(2002-present) Vidalia Community Chorus (Vidalia, GA) -- Pianist/Men's Rehearsal Technician.

(2003-2005) Montgomery County Middle/High Schools (Mt. Vernon, GA) -- Choral Music 6-12, Band 5-12.

Marching band won Gene Wyles (best in class) trophy at Worth County Invitational Marching Contest

Several students awarded All-State Chorus Membership

Girls' Trio won Region Literary Meet

(1997-2003) Turner County Public Schools (Ashburn, GA) -- Choral Music 8-12, General Music 6-8

Established the first middle school choral program in the district, with an enrollment of over 100.

First GMEA district choral festival appearance in the district (favorable judges comments).

Students awarded GMEA All State Chorus membership for the first time in the district.

Students placed in Region Literary events, including 1st place middle school quartet and boys solo, and State Chapion AA Boys Quartet.

Choirs maintained a busy performance schedule at community events.

Music classes for grades six and seven included music appreciation and guitar classes.

Rehired by school system after a year off.

Successful part-time music ministry resulted in full-time job with addition of youth ministry in 1996.

Established the first high school choral program in the district.

Re-established the then-defunct high school band program.

Marching band performed in many local parades plus parade at Universal Studios, Orlando, FL.

Superior rating at non-GMEA choral festival with extra-curricular middle school chorus.

Marching band arranger and composer - with arrangements played by Cobb County and Floyd County bands. More recently orchestrated a major broadway-style musical for Sarasota (FL) Baptist Church.

Proficient trumpet player (All State band and chorus membership as a student).
