CAREER ACCOMPLISHMENTS (continued):

* Implemented CPI teams including hourly personnel within each team. Provided the training and development of team members achieving: $500K improvement in direct labor costs and a $2.6M annualized savings in scrap reduction.

* Manage development of the manufacturing budget and annual plan including variance analyses throughout the plan year. Insuring the budget established includes all cost reduction initiatives targeted at meeting strategic cost projections.

o Presenting quarterly financial performance results, projections and project status to the CEO, Division President and other members of the Executive Staff.

* Successfully managed the cross-functional integration project team bringing both companies together following the acquisition of Alkahn, Inc. by Paxar/Americas, Inc. working directly with personnel from both companies including Sales, Marketing, Engineering, R&D, Designing, Customer Service, Purchasing, HR, QA, IT, Finance and Manufacturing.

o Included development of new organization structures encompassing Sales and Marketing, Engineering, Finance and Manufacturing for the newly organized business unit.

* Managed the manufacturing consolidation project reducing the number of domestic manufacturing locations from five operations to two including the resulting personnel reductions and realignments.

o Domestic manufacturing consolidation has been successfully achieved with no detrimental impact to safety performance, operating costs, delivery performance and quality levels during the transition process.

* System leadership roles have resulted in improved on-time delivery performance, by item, of the Paxar West Virginia operation from 63% in May '04 to 91% in July '04 and currently tracking at 95%+.

o Successes achieved were accomplished as a result of applying participative management approaches in appropriate areas, completing needs analyses relative to training and development needs and changing the culture of the organization where employees were empowered to propose innovative solutions to identified problems.

* Implemented management goal setting and Standards of Performance processes to improve operations.
