Bill Leighty's Resume

Bill Leighty is a native Tulsan, educated in the public school system and at the University of Tulsa where he studied Business and Journalism. A Broker Associate, Bill was first licensed as an

agent in 1987 and as a Broker in 1988, so he has the experience and expertise needed to provide clients and customers with the highest degree of professional advice

and representation.

Bill is a goal-oriented real estate professional who has always been involved in the community he loves by sharing his leadership skills in school and community related activities and organizations.

In February of 2009, Bill Leighty, was appointed by Mayor Kathy Taylor and

confirmed by the City Council to a seat on the Tulsa Metropolitan Area

Planning Commission. A month later he was appointed to the Mayor's

Task Force created to make recommendations for improved public education and

communications regarding land use matters.

Most recently, Bill has been

serving on the Tulsa Transportation Advisory Board which make transit

related recommendations to the Mayor and City Council. Bill gives tirelessly of himself on behalf of his clients, customers

and organizations through his sheer energy,

and his uncompromising hard work and dedication. From historical preservation areas to new construction, Bill Leighty knows the area real estate market,

both residential and commercial.
