ARTISTIC PERFORMANCE AND DIRECTION
Plunge! Cabaret, LLC. Co founder and principal partner of this performance and artistic residency program for
higher education institutions and community service organizations. Plunge! works with a variety of human
development, societal, and cultural topics. The program presents cabaret style shows and uses materials from those
performances in workshops with academic and community service groups. (2005 present)
Music and Theater Instruction. Train and coach students in vocal technique and production, theatrical
interpretation, and performance. Students span a wide age and ability range from children through elderly, and from
beginner through working professional. Teach both in a private studio practice and group classes through the Reston
Community Center Arts Education Program in Fairfax, VA and the Northern Virginia Center for Dance and Theater in
Sterling, VA. (1999 present)
Artistic and Choral Direction. Served as musical and stage director for numerous productions over the last
fifteen years. Highlights include two seasons with the Young Actors Theater of the Reston Community Center (2004
2005), and two shows in the 1995 season of the Summer Repertory Company of the Finger Lakes. Also served as
choral music director for the First Baptist Church in Ithaca, NY (1990 1993), the St. Matthew s Episcopal Church in
Hyattsville, MD (1993 1996), and for several other groups over the last ten years.
Recording Artist and Theatrical Writer. Wrote a cabaret production, one little did featuring an original
script as well as literature excerpts and musical numbers from a host of sources (2001). The show debuted in
Washington, DC through the IN Series Women s Work, Women s Words program and has toured around the mid
Atlantic area since that time. Compiled, performed, and released a studio recorded CD entitled What She Wants
that also featured a mix of genres and musical range (2001). Other recordings include a commercial pilot for the Social
Security Administration (2002), and a feature performance in a collection of klezmer music (1998).

network of faculty and staff facilitators that provided professional consultation services to the University. Services
included strategic planning, facilitation, needs assessments, team development, leadership coaching and
change/transition management. Designed and facilitated customized interventions. Client outcomes included a
comprehensive strategic planning process, new communication structures, action plans for client marketing and

Myers Briggs Type Indicator. Certified Administrator of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), a
comprehensive psychological instrument for indicating personality styles and preferences. Conducted MBTI
