MBI INC., THE DANBURY MINT - Norwalk, CT August 1997 to present

DIRECTOR OF PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT. The leading and driving force in the strategic conceptualization and development of new and innovative product for the direct market (Special Projects and New Business Opportunities) division of the Danbury Mint. Specific responsibilities include:

* Analyze existing market trends and competition to find new more effective creative approaches in product and product categories to drive the business forward.

* Bring to the table new business opportunities through the introduction and use of new licenses and utilization of these licenses properties through the development of new innovative "niche" category product.

* Reorganize present product development structure to fit a more creative one. Hire team to support new structure.

* Manage and maintain all product development budgets and expenditures.

* Introduce, develop and maintain all manufacturing resources - overseas and domestic.

* Oversee all product cost negotiations.

Major Accomplishments:

* Revitalized the slumping die-cast division of company by creating a new division of specialty product that combined existing die-cast vehicles with licensed properties such as; MLB, NFL, NBA, Coca-Cola, Garfield, Betty Boop, DC Comics. This new division utilizing licensed vehicles generated 100 Million in sales to the company in its first year. Sales exceeded 200 Million.

* Introduced new reliable manufacturing and art development resources to the company.

* Introduced new licenses as well as new licensed product categories for Coca-Cola, Kenner Toys, PAWS, MLB, NBA, NFL, Texaco, Mobil Oil, Shell, A&W, McDonalds, Dairy Queen and more.

* Conceptualized and created low cost continuity programs developed specifically for new division of company Willabee & Ward. These programs provided continued and prolonged revenue for the company during the economic down-turn by selling low cost product monthly or by collection.

VIACOM RETAIL - Ft. Lauderdale, FL August 1996 to August 1997

* Company relocated to Dallas, Texas in May, 1997

DIRECTOR OF PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT. Responsible for the conceptualization, art direction and development of intellectual gift and toy product for Viacom corporate, Blockbuster Entertainment, Paramount Parks and the company`s chain of -1st of Their Kind- entertainment retail stores.

Specific responsibilities include:

* Leading and driving force in the conceptualization and development of product for the Viacom properties of Nickelodeon, Nick at Night, TV Land, Paramount, Paramount Pictures, Star Trek, MTV and VH1 Networks.

* Supervise, direct and manage a team of professionals dedicated to the product management of these Viacom properties.

* Manage and maintain all product development budgets and expenditures for all Viacom properties.

* Introduce, develop and maintain all manufacturing resources - overseas and domestic.

* Oversee all product cost negotiations.

* Maintain active role in the management of the creative direction for all product developed for Viacom properties.

* Daily correspondence with offshore and domestic manufacturers to ensure timely development and delivery of gift and toy product.

ENESCO CORPORATION - Itasca, IL April 1992 to August 1996

SR. ART DIRECTOR/SR. CREATIVE PRODUCT MANAGER

Responsible for the conceptualization and development of product, all art direction and graphic development for the company`s male oriented gift and mass market licensed product lines. Specific responsibilities include:

* Conceptualization and development of male oriented and mass market product for the licensed product lines of Enesco.

* Manage and maintain all budgets and expenditures for all product lines.

* Supervise, art direct and manage in-house creative team for male oriented, licensed product lines and mass market.

* Layout and design of all packaging and product graphics by means of Macintosh design system.

* Delegation and coordination of all art work with outside sources and in-house support such as: Illustrators, Photographers, Printers, Designers, Sculptors, Artists and Design Firms.

* Coordination and development of product and packaging with offshore printers and manufacturers.

* Daily correspondence on product and package development with offshore manufacturers to make sure product and packaging are developed correctly. This would include the critiquing of offshore-created sculptures in porcelain, cold cast resin or roto-cast vinyl along with the critiquing of silk-screened or offset printed product. All items are sampled by offshore manufacturers who produce the product samples based on the original artwork sent.

* Supervise and art direct all illustrators in the creation of limited edition illustrated collector plates.

* Supervise and art direct all sculptors in the creation of sculpted figurines for both Sports Impressions and Hamilton Gifts.

* Work with licensors on licensed product lines to get approvals on submissions of new product. Worked with the following licensors: (NFL) National Football League Properties, (NBA) National Basketball League Properties, (MLB) Major League Baseball, (NHL) National Hockey League, Walt Disney, (CTW) Children`s Television Workshop, Paramount Pictures, Turner Entertainment, Elvis Presley Enterprises, Coca-Cola, Ford, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Pontiac, Cadillac, Nascar (Motorsports Traditions) and Precious Moments.

* Development of product for Hamilton Direct Mail Programs (Enesco`s sister company).

* Personally responsible for the development of product to promote new gift business in the mass-market arena.

Major Accomplishments:

* Promoted to Sr. level Art Director/Sr. Creative Product Manager in August 1992 from Art Director/Creative Product Manager.

* Successful organization and development of the mass market gift product and programs that earned the company $15 million in its first year.

* Successful organization and development of U.S. Sculpting program which utilizes the talents of free-lance sculptors to create -life-like- representational figurines of license characters or individuals for both Sports Impressions and Hamilton Gifts.
