a. Working as "Corporate NDT Level III (UT, RT, MT, & PT)" of PSL Limited

since May 2007 & "NDT Head" since 2010. Gained approval and 100%

satisfaction of M/s Shell Global, M/s Siemens, M/s Black & Beach, M/s

EIL, M/s GSPL, M/s IOCL, M/s HPCL, M/s Tractebel, & M/s Gail for NDT

effectiveness at PSL.

b. Trained & certified more than 125 NDT level II personal at PSL Limited

Varsana and more than 25 NDT Level II persons at PSL North America

LLC.

c. Suggested & get modified the simple AUT machines with Computer

controlled and PLC operated Auto Engage/Disengage and recording of

testing data enabled the machine to be operate by one operator

independently, instead of three to four persons required to operate.

d. Suggested & get modified reporting software of testing equipments to

directly transfer data into pipe tracking system and provide ready to

use reports resulted in Operators 40% time saving for more emphasis on

test evaluations rather than report making.

B. Quality Assurance:

a. Enhanced management systems awareness up to root level employees from

60% to 98% by modified compact and easy presentations, group

discussions, & Practical case Drills, hence increased the

implementation.

b. Gained 100% satisfaction of new clients M/s Siemens, & M/s Black &

Beach.

c. Gained 100% satisfaction of NABL auditors.

C. Quality Control: Enhance controls on product quality based on continuous

feedback and analysis of observations as follows:

a. HSAW pipe diameter control tolerances achieved within 1 mm for pipe

diameters up to 48" OD, and within 3 mm for Pipe diameters more than

48" OD up to 120" OD.

b. WELD soundness in terms of penetration, fusion, ductility and strength

achieved more than 99% satisfaction level for HSAW pipe grades

starting from similar to & API 5L Grade B up to API 5L X80M grades.

c. Perpendicularity always ensured within 1mm of pipe faces, and

straightness within 0.5% of length. Other similar properties also

controlled well below specification's tolerances.
