Professional Experience
November 2008 to November 2012
SolarWorld Hillsboro, OR
Process Development Engineer (Diffusion)
Worked closely with production to maintain work instructions to insure that best know practices were up to date and being followed
Determined control limits through experimentation which lead to qualification procedure and OCAPs for existing processes.
Worked closely with research and development to design, develop, and deploy a new emitter that yielded an increase of 0.25 mean cell efficiency. This resulted in $3.1 million in additional revenues.
Conceptualized and worked with IT to develop an automated tuning software that compensated for chemical consumption.
June 2008 to February 2009
Kelly Services Hillsboro, OR
Operator 2
Maintained tool operations.
Created work documents.
Worked closely with engineering to troubleshoot both tool and process issues.
Accomplishments
Coordinated with process integration to develop the cell department's first Process Control System, and used this experience to help deploy similar charts in the rest of the process areas. This lead to a 0.3 increase in Cpk.
Created the departments first yield tracking charts. These charts were incorporated throughout the cell fab.
Outstanding contributor Q3 2011.
Identified, tested, and resolved a material issue that resulted in an increase of $37,000/day of additional revenues.
