Desired Position Objective

My overall aim is to magnify the glory of God by serving the body of Christ using the spiritual gifts He has entrusted to me. I intend to fulfill this aim chiefly by being a minister of the gospel, declaring and imparting the good news of Jesus Christ to all with whom I come into contact, be it through discipleship or evangelism. Along these lines, I seek to preach the Word in and out of season and to do the work of an evangelist, glorifying God by edifying believers and evangelizing the lost. Regarding the church, my aim is to shepherd, counsel, and disciple them so as to present every man complete in Christ. I am particularly passionate to see the members of the body equipped to serve using their own spiritual gifts, actively participating in discipleship such that the work of the ministry is carried out not only by the pastors, but by all.

Primarily served as the shepherd of CalvaryBibleChurch’s college group while concurrently a full-time seminary student

Initially hit the “restart” button on the college ministry: re-organized it (college and young adults), re-defined it (18-25 year-olds), and re-named it (Veritas)

By God’s grace, saw Him grow this ministry both in depth (spiritual maturity) and in breadth (from about 7 when we started to 70+ now)

From Oct 2007 – Nov 2009 Veritas existed as a Friday night Bible study, where I taught weekly lessons. Since November 2009, Veritas has existed as a Sunday morning fellowship group, where I preach a weekly full-length sermon
