Brief Background History

**Because of the current economic situation I am including this page so that you might know what other things I have done, other than electrical work in my life that, combined with my management experience, give me a very versatile background and valuable for many types of positions.

Growing up I worked for my father in Colorado doing custom farm work for most all of the farmers in the area where we lived. We did plowing, planted crops, such as potatoes, sugar beets, corn beans. We did most all of the crop spraying in the area, both pesticide insecticides. We also harvested ensilage corn sugar beets. My father, three brothers I did all of our own equipment maintenance upkeep.

When that particular part of the work was slow, such as in the winter the middle of the summer, I worked for many of the farmers in the area. I also worked for a carpenter in town for a full service gas station for over two years.

I farmed for myself in Colorado for one year. I grew corn, sugar beets alfalfa.

After that I went to work went to work for the largest cattle feedlot in the world. (Monfort of Greeley Colorado) They fed over 150,000 head of cattle at one location. There I started out working for the veterinarian at the facility. I began there by riding through the cattle pens every day, taking any sick animals out to the clinic for treatment. I also drove a feed truck there for a while. After that I was asked to assist the individual who was responsible for farming over 700 acres for Monfort.
