Introduction and Welcome
Dear Sir or Ma'am,
I have developed this web based resume to consolidate
all of my pertinent information into one easy to utilize location. This is MY
information, and I expect its usage to handled in accordance with all privacy
laws and regulations. Any misuse of information found on this site will result
in legal action.
My Electronics education and experience began in 1987
when I joined the US Navy. Eight years of US Navy Military experience has given
me a wide range of technical, supervisory and customer support skills. In the
Navy, ET (electronics technician) stands for Everything Technician. I have
worked on everything from simple computer systems to major multiplexing sites.
Also, military experience stresses teamwork as well as the ability to make
quick on the spot decisions for problem resolution. Without these skills, the
missions cannot be fulfilled.
Since then, I have worked with a local company
providing technical and quality assurance in the Breath Alcohol Testing Field.
I have worked with nearly every police department in the state of Ohio along
with numerous other State run breath testing programs to provide real time
technical customer support, electronics instrument repair, testing,
calibration, and training. In addition,
I am the Quality Assurance Manager, Inspection and Testing technician, and
Calibration Manager. I also perform technical setup and repair for a Process Sense Controller
used by MKS Instruments.
In addition, I have taught myself various word
processing, database, graphics and systems analysis programs to assist in my
development of training and Quality Control procedures for my current company,
along with brochure/advertisement designs for a small sideline business of my
own.
I have acquired, thru my various experiences, the
ability to quickly learn all types of technically oriented equipment. For example,
the BAC DataMaster Breathalyzer is a very specialized piece of equipment,
requiring knowledge of optics and mechanics as well as electrical, and
electronic experience. I have experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of
Electronic Systems. I can develop departmental policies, and procedures. I have
20 years of customer support experience, I know how to work with a customer to
resolve problems to both parties satisfaction, and I have the willingness to
learn new ideas, systems, policies, software, equipment and anything of a
technical nature.
Please contact me at your convenience.
Sincerely,
Randolph L. Martin
