Senior Materials Handler
In the job of Senior Material Handler, I perform the necessary tasks in warehouse operations to coordinate movement of high quality materials and products on time and in the right quantities. I maintain a clean and orderly work area and participate in safety improvement projects. I perform a full range of duties associated with a warehouse operation such as: forklift operation, identify incoming freight, prepare receiving documents, supply various raw and packaging materials to the production departments, and operate company car or truck for interplant, local and long distant trips. Warehouse Supervisor
In my role as Warehouse Supervisor, I was responsible for the management of the storeroom inventory. I supervised and coordinated the activities of workers engaged in receiving, transporting, stacking, order filling, shipping, and maintaining stock records in warehouse. It was my responsibility to adhere to the schedules and deadlines of the Project Manager. My subordinates and I were trained in the Health & Safety compliance in accordance with company policy. We managed our inventory accuracy through the monitoring of daily warehouse activities, cycle counts, stockades and audit of same to verify results. I made it certain to provide leadership by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standards of work practices and safety conscious behavior. I took pride in the establishing, maintaining and promoting high standards of customer service. In certain times, I would be the Stand in for the Manager during Holidays/Sickness as required. I was responsible for ensuring that the product requisitioned matched the bill of materials and checked for any indication of damage while in transit. I also prepared financial reports from the main operating budget and submitted the reports to my supervisor or Supply Officer.

As a Logistics Specialist, I provided diverse logistics and accounting support in a global setting to aviation, surface, subsurface, and expeditionary forces. I utilized my experience and knowledge to ensure logistics support requirements are designed into acquisition programs by separately or collectively working issues involving the logistics elements.
