EXPERIENCE:
Graduated from Jacksonville University School of Orthodontics. Residency case load
involved 120 patients (Mixed dentition, Class II div.I and II, Class I crowded, and Class III
patients). Worked on adolescent and adult patients. Trained with straight wire appliances in
the MBT Rx (3M Unitek Victory series and Smart clip system), Lewis bracket Rx, Damon
Mx and Damon 3 brackets, Speed systems, and GAC Innovation-R brackets. Familiar with
functional appliances (Twin block, Herbst, MARA, Frankel II and III). Placed RMO Dual
Top and 3M Unitek temporary anchorage devices.
Familiar with Dolphin imaging and Aquarium orthodontic software, Oasys patient
management software, Planmeca Pan and Ceph digital radiography, I-CAT 3D cone beam
imaging, and Orthocad digital models.
Worked from 2004-2006 as general dentist in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Cases include fixed and
removable prosthodontics, endodontics, urgical extractions (non-impacted), and restorative
dentistry. Running 4 ops with 3 assistants and averaging between 15-20 patents daily.
AEGD residency allowed me to expand my skills in fixed prosthodontics (multiple unit
bridges), removable prosthodontics (complete and rpd), oral surgery (simple and surgical
extractions), implant dentistry (placement and restoration), and endodontics (rotary
instrumentation and warm vertical gutta percha condensation).
Externship at Florida Community Health, Ft. Pierce, FL. Worked on medically compromised,
elderly, and pediatric patients.
Externship at Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network, Allentown, PA. Worked on
medically compromised and pediatric patients. Assisted in O.R. dentistry and sedation
dentistry.
Externship at Philadelphia Veterans Administration Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. Assisted oral
surgery residents with bony impacted 3rd molar extraction, BSSO, Lafort 1and 2 surgery,
sedation cases, and O.R. dentistry.
