ESUME
1995
- Present: Owner/Main ConsultantWolff-Myren Group
Through this business, I have been working with computers for over twelve years, starting
with 8086s running MS-DOS 3.2; learning and expanding my computer expertise, through
Windows 3.0, 3.1, 3.11, 95, 98 and NT (4.0/Win2
K), as well as some experience with Linux
and UNIX. I have an extensive background in hardware installation/configuration as well as
software/hardware troubleshooting. I have run a side consulting business for over three
years, where I deal with customers with ranging experience levels. I am familiar with
QuickBasic, VisualBasic, Perl, HTML, and a little experience in C/C++. I recently entered
the networking field, and I am increasing my expertise in the field of TCP/IP networking.
I have administered NT systems, and have a good amount of experience maintaining an
Exchange Server. I have extensive troubleshooting experience, and solve problems quickly
and efficiently, even under the pressures of company work and consulting services. I get
along with people well, and have been told that I am good at relating complex information
to the novice user.
1998 - 1999: Network Administrator
Oregon Sports Medicine Associates
As the Network Administrator, I configured and administered a Windows NT/UNIX based
TCP/IP LAN with 20 users over two locations using e-mail through Microsoft Exchange, with
a 56K ISDN line connecting both offices. Handled day to day issues (PC problems,
software/hardware issues, installed NICs, etc.), in self managed and prioritized
environment.
1998 - 1998: Assistant Network Administrator
Premia Corp.
As an Assistant Network Administrator, I worked closely with an experienced
administrator, handling a NetWare/WindowsNT based network of 50 users. Learned networking,
while handling day to day tasks, as well as coding Perl for the company web page, and
patching twisted pair/routing coaxial cabling.
