Achieved Admirable Departmental Goals, Raising The Bar. Rose to top of New York State Electric and Gas, achieving over 50% of departments goals individually. This accounted for $410M+ in new investments, and generated $10.5M+ in new annual net revenue which accounted for 70% of entire department.

Leading Sales Manager. Sold deregulated electricity and natural gas to large C I customers in NY, NJ, PA, CT and secured the largest Niagara Mohawk Energy volume customer and aggregate customers each year, exceeding sales quotas by over 50% and securing the most energy supply key accounts.

Opened New Territories, Boosting Profits. Appointed by Niagara Mohawk Energy to establish new deregulated energy supply sales company in Canada. Developed business organization and structure, market entry strategy and staffing. Led new company to second largest in Ontario, CA within the first year, earning revenue of over $50M.

Boosted Energy Procurement Volume. Managed client risk, establishing a VAR (Value At Risk) policy as it related to customer energy budgets. Expanded client base, growing procurement volume to over $100M within first three years, and maintained an energy trading range of $200M to $700M annually. Boosted trading margins to over $1M by fourth year.

Created Asset Program, Expanding Business. Saw opportunity to create new program for New York State Electric Gas. Identified under-utilized transmission and substation assets, developing new tariff rate incentives. Lowered energy delivery price, growing customer base. Secured $17M in new investments and $3.5M+ in additional revenue.

Executed Risk Management Programs, Saving Customers Millions. Saw need to provide increased risk management for United Energy key accounts. Hedging and trading energy commodities, collaborating with City of Buffalo, water treatment plants, and real estate management companies to save customers between $250K to $3M annually.

Managing Director, Niagara Mohawk Energy Solutions, planned and directed new $150M+ diversified energy services division within NME, 1997 to 2001. Exceeded key account and revenue goals by 50% each year. Recruited sales and support staff to sell deliver cross functional department offerings including energy supply, conservation engineering, and on-site generation. Authored business plan and financial request to NMHC Board. Initiated the Energy Solutions Division, managing team of 11 and $2M annual budget. Participated in over a dozen MA analysis and deal transactions.
