Wellsite geologist for vertical and horizontal drilling of well in the oil and gas fields of the
D-J Basin in Colorado, Nebraska and Wyoming. Additional experience in the Uinta Basin of Utah.
* Perform evaluation of drilling parameters related to description and analysis of target formations
for presence of hydrocarbons.
* Determine target thickness from drill cuttings and ROP data.
* Supervise mud-logging operations including operation of MLogger gas detector and formation
evaluation to include construction of a striplog of the well while drilling displaying lithology,
gamma, and chromatograph curves.
* Locate faults using e-log and seismic data.
* Prepare geologic drilling prognosis.
* Advise casing point picks, correlation of intervals and pick TD.
* Operation of mud gas analysis equipment on MLogger total gas analyzers and chromatographs.
