Wendy's cashier performs a multitude of job duties. Key responsibilities include greeting customers, submitting orders, and operating the cash register.

Cashiers should demonstrate customer service, problem-solving, and basic computer skills. In addition to customer service, Wendy's cashiers often perform cleaning duties in the dining room. Cashiers must wipe off tables, retrieve trays, vacuum carpets, and sweep and mop floors. Additionally, cashiers must stock napkins, condiments, and utensils.
