Resume:

dog obediance trainer and walker (Corvallis)

Date: 2012-10-30, 9:42AM abp7go@r.postjobfree.com

My name is Kat.

I have trained seven dogs over the years. I specialize in leash and public manners skills. If your dog growls, nips, whines, pee's or is out of control while on a leash please call me! I am also good with teaching basic skills like sit, stay, and kid tricks.

I start with one in home assessment, and then training will be done mostly on walks. In home training is suggested once or twice a month. The purpose of in-home training is to keep you fully informed on new techniques, and when to use them. It also gives you the opportunity to tell me about things that you want to change with in your home.

It does not matter if your dog is "too old" or "too young". Behavior is not a age or breed problem. The breed of your dog will determine energy level, but not behavior. Your furry friends behavior is an outcome of your understanding their needs. If a baby cries for food you need to feed it. My job is to interpret what the root of your pets behavior is, and teach you and your pet how to live in piece.

I believe in hands on positive reinforcement. treats, petting and verbal rewards are great. a firm "NO" and "BAD" are acceptable at times.
