Please accept this letter of recommendation on behalf of Ms. Nancy Lee Destiny. I have had the sincere

pleasure of knowing Nancy since her matriculation into our associate s degree program. Specifically, she

enrolled and excelled in two of my courses: Introduction to Sociology and Sociology of the Family.

I have taught full-time at Clinton Community College (CCC) for fifteen years; and without a doubt, Nancy is

one of the most intellectually curious students with whom I have been engag ed. She is a student who gets the

big picture while still demonstrating the ability to attend to the trees in the midst of any forest. Interactions

with Nancy are thoughtful, creative, and sincere.

In the few years since Nancy graduated from CCC, I have had the good fortune to remain in contact with her

and have enjoyed watching her creative/journalistic success as a student at The State University of New York at

Plattsburgh (PSUNY).

Nancy is bright and eager to advance her learning and her career. Without hesitation, I am comfortable in

supporting her candidacy for enrollment in your graduate studies program.
