GRAPHIC FUTURES

1981-2008 Founder and Director of Graphic Futures: providing consultation,

training, planning, organizational development, and policy analysis for a

variety of local, state, and national agencies and projects seeking to

strengthen the values, implementation practices, and innovative policy

initiatives related to Person-Centered planning and service design.

An overview of continuous consulting contracts with agencies, state offices, and

grants supported by Developmental Disabilities Councils is provided on the

following pages. Also attached is a listing of over 75 publications and artworks

related to Person-Centered Development by Beth Mount.

Person-Centered planning ideals and projects are now widespread in Canada,

England, Ireland, Holland, and Australia. Publications by Beth Mount have been

translated and taught throughout Latin America particularly in Mexico, Brazil,

Uruguay, and Argentina, and in Poland, China, Japan, Russia, and Spain.

Implemented and directed group homes, apartment living programs,

foster and developmental training homes as an alternative to

institutional living for people with developmental disabilities.

1977 Consultant, trainer, and team leader for PASS workshops for the

Developmental Disabilities Institute in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

1976-1977 Student teacher and Intern in the Hunter School, Raleigh, North Carolina,

Sara Barker Center, Durham, North Carolina, and Fitzgerald Elementary
