Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to you to apply for Sales Manager position. As you will see from my resume I have extensive sales experience as well as Hospitality Industry management. Although, I have been out of the industry for several years, as a result of unfortunate health related issues in my family, I have not lost the desire or the ability to sell and manage client relations. I believe I was born with an innate ability to identify prospects, anticipate their needs and close sales.

In my previous positions uniquely qualifies me for this particular job. Working for hotel Monticello, I have experienced boutique hotel setting which gave me access to work at every aspect of the management. When necessary, I managed the front office, other days, I worked closely with the reservation and revenue manager on daily booking, some days cooperated with housekeeping department by conducting quality control.

I was able to maintain client loyalty by providing individualized service and set up close relationships with our client base. I could identify many clients by name and their choices and achieved high guest satisfaction.

In addition to my sales experience and client relations, I have lived and worked in Washington DC last 35 years, so I am very familiar with the local companies and follow the social and business related developments in the Metropolitan Washington DC.
