Oversaw an 11 employee mental health department at the Hutchinson Correctional

Facility, an 1,851 bed men?s prison operated by the Kansas Department of

Corrections. Responsible for day-to-day contract compliance, ensuring all contract

requirements were met. Duties included, intake, triage, transfer in and out inmate

mental health compliance, monthly QI reports, monthly site statistics, employee

supervision, hiring retention and discharge. Provided suicide prevention training to

all prison employees. Held weekly clinical staff meetings, identified inmates

more intensive mental health treatment and assisted in facilitating moves for those

inmates to 1 of 2 intensive correctional mental health programs in the state. Crisis

identification and management that included from minor crisis placement to full
